Gunnar Rasmussen: a very famous name in the world of acoustics. For many years he worked at Bruel & Kjaer designing and developing their world famous range of microphones.

GRAS specialise in precision measurements, having a extensive range of free-field, pressure and random incidence microphones.
They also supply specialist microphone systems like sound intensity probes and outdoor microphones with specifically designed responses to compensate for the vertical orientation due to the rain deflector, insert voltage calibration and the source of noise being at 90°.
